Entry authority from the Asian region
challenge
High security and quality requirements must be met when stamping ID documents. The data from passports or ID cards must be reliably recorded, processed and documented in a forgery-proof manner. At the same time, a flexible and mobile solution is required that can be easily integrated into existing border control and administration systems. In addition, the printed information must be permanently legible and machine-readable.
Solution
With the mobile inkjet printer jetStamp® graphic 970, stamps, texts and data matrix codes can be printed directly onto the ID document. This creates a unique, scannable and difficult to manipulate identification. Captured personal data is digitally embedded in the entry stamp.
Implementation in the process
The document is first scanned and the data is checked by the border official. The system then processes the information and generates a data matrix code. This is printed directly onto the document.
result
The solution reduces manual intermediate steps and supports a fast, standardized process. The directly printed code means that information can be easily read and traced at a later date. At the same time, security is increased as the marking is permanent and easy to read.
Conclusion
The application combines traditional stamping with digital data capture. This makes control processes more efficient, secure and transparent. The jetStamp® graphic 970 supports authorities in marking ID documents reliably and reliably.
