A classic electric stamp usually prints a fixed text.

A mobile direct printing device, on the other hand, offers:

  • variable contents
  • Changing templates
  • Flexible print sizes
  • No change of stamping plates
  • No mechanical wear

Labeling enables traceability, quality control, legal compliance and efficient storage and logistics processes.
It is a central component of modern production and supply chains.

TIJ stands for Thermal Inkjet and refers to a contactless inkjet technology in which ink is applied precisely to the surface.
The technology is often used for industrial direct printing applications.

Common methods include:

  • Direct printing (e.g. thermal inkjet / TIJ)
  • Label printing
  • Laser marking
  • Needle embossing or engraving
The appropriate method depends on the material, shelf life and production environment.

With direct printing, the imprint is made directly on the surface of the product.
During labeling, a separate label is first printed and then affixed.
The choice depends on the material, process requirements and sustainability goals.

Printing is done in one color. In addition to black, eye-catching ink colors such as yellow, magenta or eggplant are also available depending on the device - ideal for contrast, visibility or special marking requirements.

Direct printing without label material results in less waste and lower ongoing consumption costs.

Texts, barcodes, QR codes, date, time, serial numbers and logos.

Mobile marking devices enable flexible applications outside of fixed production lines and are particularly advantageous for small batches or changing products.

The choice depends on the material, print content, batch size and workflow. Mobile devices such as the jetStamp® 1025 are suitable for flexible applications, while specialized models such as the speed-i-Jet 798 are designed for documents.

No. PCset graphic and the required printer drivers are available free of charge.

In many cases, integration is carried out via a driver, as with a classic printer. For ERP integrations, coordination with the IT department can be useful.

  • PC set graphic: For flexible layout design and your own templates
  • Word & Excel: For simple, direct office printing
  • ERP integration: For automated production processes
  • label softwareIf existing layouts are to continue to be used

We will be happy to advise you on your choice.

No. Only the free REINER printer driver is required for office, ERP or label software applications. Separate operating software is not required.

Yes, in many applications. Instead of printing label material, the imprint is made directly on the product. Whether a complete replacement is possible depends on the material and process.
