Which printer modes are available for the jetStamp® 1025 and how do they differ?

Various printer modes are available for the jetStamp® 1025. These settings only have an effect when working with a printer driver. In addition, not all print job settings are compatible or useful with every mode.

Normal„ mode“

In „Normal“ mode, for multi-page print jobs, each page is only transferred to the device once the previous page has been printed in full.

The print job remains in the print spooler until all pages have been printed. It is then automatically removed from the spooler.

This mode is particularly suitable for multi-page print jobs where the pages are to be processed one after the other.

Mode „Endlessly again.“

In „Repeat endlessly“ mode, the transferred page is saved directly on the device. It can be printed as often as required until it is deleted manually or the device is restarted.

For multi-page print jobs, the pages are transferred one after the other. In continuous mode, however, only the last page transferred can be printed.

This mode is therefore only suitable for repeated printing of a single page.

Queue to SD„ mode“

In „Queue to SD“ mode, all pages of a print job are transferred to the device one after the other and saved there.

The saved pages can then be printed directly on the device in their original order.

This mode is particularly suitable for multi-page print jobs that are to be saved on the device and printed one after the other.

Note on selecting the appropriate printer mode

Which printer mode is suitable depends on the respective application. The „Repeat endlessly“ mode is suitable for repeated printing of a single page. The „Normal“ and „Queue on SD“ modes are primarily intended for multi-page print jobs.
