The development of today's company began back in 1913 with the founding of Ernst REINER®. Based then, as it is today, in Furtwangen in the Black Forest, REINER has grown from a regional craftsman's business to an internationally active company over the course of its 112-year history.

REINER® History
Ernst REINER® was an inventor and visionary with the courage to set up his own company in 1913 as a craft business in the field of Precision mechanics to found the company. After just a few years, he begins his core business, which is still successful today: the development and manufacture of Hand stamping.
In 1950, the first Electric stamp 20 years later, the company entered the field of OCR printer for banks, which is also the starting signal for the continuous introduction of electronics.
