The gate supports and optimizes the incoming goods process with two work steps. It is integrated into a workflow system and ensures the error-free assignment of documents to goods. This is precisely where the MeisterWerke employees started and created a pragmatic improvement. A good example from practice: optimization of logistical bottlenecks in incoming goods cleverly combined with demands for accelerated processes for waiting suppliers and forwarders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, when goods are delivered, all pages of the delivery documents are printed with a consecutive 1D barcode at the gate using the REINER jetStamp graphic 970. The complete documents are scanned by the gatekeeper and are simultaneously available to the incoming goods department as digital delivery documents via the workflow system. The printed barcode is assigned to a goods receipt number and a process, and is now also part of the ERP system.
The driver is then quickly directed to the correct warehouse and gate on the large factory premises via a call and guidance system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The consecutive barcode on the documents plays another important role in the further process: after the incoming goods inspection and storage, all documents are finally scanned, linked to the ERP goods receipt number and archived according to the barcode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Generating a barcode with consecutive content is not rocket science. But having it always available on site using a reliable marking device is more tricky! The fact that the printer can also be used flexibly for changing requirements is special; and possible with the REINER jetStamp graphic 970.

A basic function of the REINER jetStamp graphic 970 is the continuous barcode option, which can contain the date, time, texts or a counter. The numerator, for example, changes with each print. But how does this work in the case of different document page numbers? This is also a basic function of the REINER jetStamp graphic 970. The gatekeeper operates the setting wheel and switches between two settings: \u201e1 for print image\u201c and \u201eF for functions\u201c - the rest is preset on the device. Regardless of how many pages a delivery document contains, the consecutive barcode is reproduced in the same way on all pages until the next time the setting wheel is changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
