The aim was to digitize incoming mail more efficiently and assign documents more quickly, securely and clearly to the right departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Public authorities face special challenges when it comes to digitizing administrative processes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High number of physical incoming documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strict data protection and verification requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Different document formats and statuses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time-consuming manual work steps in the inbox<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In the existing process, documents were first stamped, manually pre-sorted and then prepared for scanning with labels or separator sheets. Printing takes place at the touch of a button - without labels, separator sheets or additional aids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For similar documents there are also <strong>Automatic release stations<\/strong> are used. These ensure reproducible positioning of the print and provide ergonomic relief for employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After labeling, the document is scanned.
